Dada Diiptimanananda learned meditation in September 1991. The spiritual practices gradually became the most important source of joy in his life, and in 1996, he decided to dedicate his life to teaching meditation and spirituality. He took training in Denmark and Sweden from 1997 to 2005 and then graduated from India and started work in Taiwan and Russia.
During those years in Taiwan, he received Taiwan Scholarship for five years. He studied Chinese Mandarin and piano and completed a master’s degree in ethnomusicology. Same time, he taught yoga and meditation during fasting programs at Ananda Suruchi. He traveled extensively in Taiwan and Russia, giving Ananda Marga philosophy lectures and singing the Prabhata Samgiita songs.
He has been working in the US and Canada since 2013, organizing various retreats, conferences, meetings, and other events. He is active in giving lectures in philosophy and has recently started publishing YouTube videos with recordings of the Prabhata Samgiita songs and philosophical discussions.
Dada Diiptimanananda has taught hundreds of people meditation and given personal instruction to over three hundred men and boys.
Dada Diiptimanananda’s special interests are yoga and meditation, long-distance biking, swimming, running, Prabhata Samgiita songs, classical music, spiritual philosophy, Master Units, and health awareness.
